women, our influence as voters has significantly
grown in the State of Illinois and across the nation.
Our influence as politicians is on the rise as well.
Together we’ve made a difference in the lives
of our families and our communities. Together we
can do more.
We can ensure that the voices of Illinois women
are heard loud and clear and make certain that results
follow the talk. We start by really listening to
women throughout the state. And, by supporting those
political candidates who really understand what
women in our state want and expect from our leaders.
That’s what Women’s Voices Illinois
is all about. Starting with this website to provide
a forum for women to express their views and share
their perspectives with other women and as a mechanism
to learn about women political candidates. And,
more is on its way. In the coming months you’ll
find us wherever women are, listening to your concerns,
responding to your requests, encouraging women to
engage in the political process and supporting candidates
who will best represent the women of our state.
